| NEWS FROM BRASIL By Josiah McIntyre Hello everyone!!!! I pray that everything is going well and that your lives are being richly blessed!!! I could not send an e-mail out last week due to internet problems here in the city, but this week everything is working good!!! Things have been going good, and I have been taking one day at a time. Work on the house is coming along very quickly, and Lord willing it should be done sometime in August. Malaria has been going around a whole lot but it has begun to slow back down since the rainy season has passed, and now it is dry and hot!! The days here are absolutely beautiful if you can just get over the heat. I have had a problem for the past 2 to 3 weeks and didn't even know about it until last weekend. Having big feet can be difficult to find shoes in America but here there is another problem..... PARASITES!!! They seem to like my big feet for some reason and I am not sure why!!! Back in April I had to literally dig out a bug that had burrowed in my foot and laid eggs!! As bad as that sounds it really wasn't that bad. Well, about 3 weeks ago my left foot started itching on the side of my foot!! I just ignored it and didn't think much about it. However, it kept itching and then I noticed it was in a different spot each day!! I looked to see what it was, and it was a little red line that was itching. I finally showed somebody and it ended up being like a little worm thingy that was under my skin, and it was moving under my skin across my whole foot!!! PRAISE THE LORD THE WORM IS NOW DEAD!!!! So the point of the story is to pray for my feet!!! Other than that everything is going good!!! There is a group coming down here in August from my church, and I can't wait to see them!!! They will be doing some work at the orphanage,and then we will leave on the boat to go out into the jungle for about 5 days or so. I want to encourage you to continue to seek after Christ with all your heart. He has been teaching me patience and to be obedient while I am waiting!!! Because nothing of worldly value is important to God, and there is nothing I can do that will make Him love me more that He already does!!! Everything is in His hands from the day I was born until the day I die. I pray that this life will be a living sacrifice for Jesus Christ. For it says," not by might nor by power, but only by My Spirit says the Lord." Zech. 4:6. That verse speaks so much to my heart and it is so comforting to know that everything is only by His Spirit!!! Give your hearts fully to Christ b/c you are never too smart or too dumb, too young or too old, too rich or too poor to bear fruit for the kingdom of Christ!!
